Trash D Garbage - bassist 1987 through 1989
After the departure of Kid Chaos from The Love Reaction in February 1987 (he left to join The Cult), Zodiac reformed The Love Reaction. An additional guitarist (Flash Bastard) was brought in and Trash D Garbage was found as a replacement for Kid Chaos. Trash D Garbage (real name unknown) originally hails from Canada and did various sessions work for some well known groups before finding a temporary home in The Love Reaction.
Zodiac, in 1989, summed up Trash's departure from The Love Reaction (along with Flash, both left the band in 1989)...
"They were taken on in the first place as employees, if you like, as salaried members of the band. It was a suggestion by the management at the time, and a situation I was never happy with."
Zodiac continues...
"I asked them to join the band full-time, but they weren't too keen, and so in the end it got to the point where I asked them to join full-time or leave. They decided to hop off, and that's fair enough. It was purely their decision and the parting was pretty amicable. I didn't push them out or anything."
Trash hooked up with Les Warner who had been ejected from The Cult in March of 1988 along with Kid Chaos. Les Warner had been The Cult's drummer from mid-1985 through March of 1988. Les and Trash, together with ex-Killing Joke guitarist Raven (who, by the way, also served in The Love Reaction in 1989, filling in Flash Bastard's empty slot), formed Hellfire Club. Ex-Psychedelic Furs guitarist Marty Williamson and vocalist Dave Lush filled out the group. In 1989 the band released the single 'Heaven Can Wait.'
By 1991 Williamson had left the group and Mark Neutron was brought in to replace him. The band releases another single in 1992 , 'Flying Thru Life', and shortly thereafter Les Warner departs. Les is replaced by a drummer simply known as Steve.
It is unknown if the group is still currently together.
