I am a programmer who is also a technical writer. I worked in the IT industry for over 25 years. Through a combination of circumstances I became long-term unemployed and have had to live on welfare since 1991. This fired me to turn my skills to an incisive analysis of the society in which I live, and from thence to ask - and seek answers to - the most fundamental questions of life.
